Tea parties, fishing with Papa and feeding the cows
While the girls were here we all drove down to Gainesville to spend a week with Grandma and Papa. We had tons of fun. On one particular busy day not only did we have an awesome tea party (with Grandma's help) but we also went out to some friends' home where they have a stocked fishing pond and several acres of cows. The kids had a blast feeding the cows and then going fishing. Noah loved having Papa's help with the fishing pole. Brings back so many memories of fishing with Dad when I was a child.....except I think he made me learn to bait my own hook at that age!
So I thought being a stay-at-home mom would give me all the time in the world to do elaborate scrapbooks, completely fill out the baby books and that I would be regulary updating friends and family with the latest news and pictures....but.....for some strange reason I seem to not have the time for any of that! All the "time" I thought I'd be having after quiting work to stay at home with my sweet Noah was apparently a figment of my imagination. But that's OK, I wouldn't have it any other way. Staying at home with Noah has been the greatest gift my wonderful husband, David, could give me (OK, on MOST days it is a wonderful gift). I am hoping that by keeping this blog somewhat updated, we can share our news, updates and laughter with everyone.
